A change of life style is necessary in relieving and curing arthritis. It is your lifestyle that caused the arthritis in the first place and if you want to cure your arthritis then this area needs to be looked at.
The following are only a few very broad examples of aspects of your lifestyle that you will need to address, change and improve.
The longer you leave it the more likely your bones will suffer permanent irreversible damage. I know this sounds rather mellow dramatic, but unfortunately this is the truth, but, don’t worry, you have already taken your first positive step by searching to find out what you can do to help yourself, now let me show you the rest of the way.
My simple step by step programme will show you exactly what you need to do.
Diet
It is through your diet your body receives the necessary nutrients and minerals it requires to heal and rebuild itself. Eating the right or wrong foods can help or hinder this process. We need to focus on getting the correct combination of nutrients and vitamins to help your body heal and rebuild and then maintain itself.
Exercise
Exercise helps strengthen bones and muscles, helps keep the muscles and joints supple and improves blood circulation to any inflamed areas. Exercise also stimulates the release of natural endorphins, which is the body's natural painkiller, so any pain will become less noticeable.
Have adequate sleep
Sleep is extremely important. During sleep, your body can repair itself and rid itself of harmful toxins. Lack of sleep can cause many problems. If your have problems sleeping then action needs to be taken - please consult your doctor for any further advice.
It is important to de-stress yourself and
be happy. Being happy and having a laugh promotes good circulation
and helps the body release endorphins. Research has shown
that people that are more relaxed and laugh more have more
control and feel less pain.
"Patients who seem to experience the lowest levels
of pain are invariably those who can laugh, sometimes at
themselves, in times of difficulty or danger."
